VFN Stainless Steel worm gearboxes represent the best solution for resistance to corrosion. Produced entirely in a high-tech, smooth AISI 316L stainless steel casing, the design is optimised for easy cleaning.
As a full stainless gearbox solution they are suitable for the most hostile applications, including caustic sanitisation processes that may involve acidic or alkaline-based detergents.
Available in 6 casing sizes rated for up to 650Nm, with standard hollow bore sizes 14mm through to 42mm, with several optional bores available on request. The casing is design is the same as the VFD aluminium series, which makes it interchangeable with several other brands of worm gearboxes and makes upgrading existing applications easier than ever before.
As standard, the stainless steel worm gear box is provided with IP66 viton seals, or for ultimate protection, add Clean-Geartech’s innovative twin shielded seals for IP69K protection. Also available with ATEX certification.
The range is complimented by two sizes of helical stage multiplier gearboxes, RCN211N and RCN411N for achieving lower output speeds when needed.
Best suited for applications that come into direct contact with processing product and are subjected to regular sanitisation procedures, in areas such as such as meat and poultry, fish and seafood processing, fruit and vegetables, dairy production, beverages, bakery applications and marine.
