The APM series is an aluminium smooth bodied motor, offering a lower cost solution for applications where hygiene is still important but stainless steel material is not necessary. Typical examples would be where just a water based washdown routine is used, or the motors the processing equipment are on do not come in direct contact with the final product. The APM series is now available in 2, 4 or 6 poles, upto 2.2kW, in B14 mounting.
The SPM series is a full 316L stainless steel construction, suitable for more extreme duty where high pressure hot water or detergent based hygiene routines are essential and where standard motors will often fail. The motors are IE4 efficiency and IP69K rated, ideal for food and beverage production. The APM series is now available in 2, 4 or 6 poles, upto 3kW, with all mounting types (B14, B5 and now B3) possible.
With 1000s of motors in stock ready to ship at the factory in Italy, any quantity of motor is available on a short lead time.
Motovario have added four new sizes of shaft mounted gearboxes to their range. The new SN series features 4 casing sizes, suitable for applications requiring nominal performance from 4,300 to 18,000Nm. Typical applications for this style of product include screw conveyors and mixers, as well as shaft-mounted conveyors, crushers and shredders.
With a range of output shaft options including hollow bore, solid shaft and shink disc up to 120mm diameter, Motovario will now be able to satisfy the needs of larger applications.
